Life Achievement Award to Mary Tyler Moore for three decades plus actress's career in television, film and stage, the production of MTM Enterprises and his work through his philanthropic efforts.
And while Moore has garnered a long list of credits that dramatic, the most important is arguably the Oscar-nominated turn as the mother Timothy Hutton in Ordinary People, he loved to work the comedy in the classic television series The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

And it's clear that he does not lose its comedy time. Asked if he was surprised that SAG chose him, Moore replied: "I was surprised. At first I did not understand what they were saying to me and I think I get the Miss Congeniality award."
Moore will be the recipient of 48 Achievement Award from SAG Living. The ceremony will air live on TNT and TBS Jan. 29 at 8 pm ET. When asked if this award is very meaningful because it comes from his acting peers, Moore quipped: "It means a lot because of a group of professionals who understand the action and communication.
